About me

Hi! Thank you for checking out my portfolio! My name is Julia, and I’m a recent Graphic Design graduate from the Community College of Denver. I’ve spent the last two years learning everything I could about graphic design and everything that comes with it. I also had the opportunity to work as an intern at the Butterfly Pavilion and freelance on some really awesome projects. Now I am ready to put my skills into practice and learn even more in a graphic design role.

Design is actually my second chapter. Before this, I earned a bachelor’s degree in education and spent years working with kids before deciding to switch careers. Even though I moved into design, that background still shapes the way I think and work. Working with children made me more creative, patient, and adaptable. Studying education also taught me a lot about how people learn and process information, which connects really closely to design.

Outside of design, you can usually find me hanging out with my dog Speck, reading a book, attempting to crochet, running, or playing pickleball badly but enthusiastically. If you'd like to work together, talk about any of my projects, or trade book recommendations, feel free to reach out!
